About the art:

 

 My paintings are inspired by the human figure and the ability to use my imagination to see beyond the realistic. Each painting is layer upon layer – working and reworking - deciding what to keep and what to destroy. I am mostly self-taught with many inspirational people and artists in my life.  What I love about art is that every time I pick up a paintbrush I continue to learn and grow.  Always.  Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s hard.  Sometimes it’s utterly confusing, and then it’s resolved.
